It almost seems crazy to think that even though 95% of all of the world’s cooling towers are square or rectangle in shape, virtually all of the spray nozzles used in those cooling towers attempt to spray in a circular pattern. Those conflicting shapes render certain parts of the spray area void of water right from the beginning. Combine that issue with the lack of proper spray pattern as a result of varying pressure and the result is cooling tower that can’t keep up in the summer months.
